The Challenge

Rahane Media runs hoardings and outdoor ad inventory across a growing list of cities, but the old booking process ran entirely on spreadsheets and phone calls. Advertisers couldn't see live availability, couldn't compare sites, and had no way to check a campaign's reach before committing budget.

The brief was to turn that offline process into a self-serve web product — one an advertiser could use to browse inventory, check availability, and request a booking without a single phone call, while still giving the internal sales team full visibility and control.

The Approach

We started by mapping every hoarding and ad site the sales team already manages, then sat with them through a full week of bookings to see where the spreadsheet process actually broke down. Availability conflicts, missing site photos, and slow follow-ups came up again and again.

We made three core architectural decisions early:

Inventory would be a live map, not a list.

Inventory would be a live map, not a list.

01

Every site — hoarding, kiosk, or digital screen — sits on an interactive map with real photos, footfall data, and live availability, so advertisers can shortlist locations the way they actually think about a campaign: by geography.

Booking requests would route straight to sales.

02

We built a lightweight CMS so the sales team can update availability and pricing in minutes, with every inbound booking request landing directly in their queue instead of an inbox full of forwarded emails.

Booking requests would route straight to sales.

Large campaign photography, clear reach numbers, and fast load times — the website had to look as premium as the outdoor sites it was selling, not like an internal tool bolted onto a public page.

The site itself would double as a sales pitch.

High Adoption

Advertisers used to call us just to ask what was available. Now they browse the map, shortlist sites, and the request is already in our queue before we pick up the phone.
